This is how you support GREAT artists...
I just found out about this woman, Esperanza Spalding. She plays the upright bass, writes beautiful jazz, afro-cuban inspired songs, and has a voice that rivals the likes of Ella and Billie. And she's 23. I'm officially jealous.
When you find an artist like this you HAVE to do what you can to support them as mass media won't necessarily find the time and space to do so. So let's see, so far I've sent emails, pasted it on facebook, and now am blogging about it.
