Sorry so long!

Hello world! Sorry so long since I've written it was a CRAZY fall of 2005!!! I'm not one to get too negative about circumstance, but I have to admit that I'm ok with seeing 2005 off, what a year of ups and downs! So I lost both my car AND my computer in September and since then I've just been trying to re-build. That was the SECOND time that my little car was stolen but good news, the police did eventually find it, thanks be to God! Although her official name is Piggy, my friends have re-named her "Boomerang" because she just keeps on coming back! What can I say, she loves me. : )

I'm so excited for this upcoming year y'all. Like I said in one of my first blogs, a Diva really is born, but this time I don't just mean Diva in the "latest R&B craze on MTV" sense of the word. I realized recently that God is preparing me to be a true DIVA. A woman of strength, honor, integrity, and determination. A woman that is not afraid to embrace all of her talents and develop them, and present herself, truthfully and honestly to the world.

So here it goes! I started my bass guitar lessons in December and they are awesome. I already feel cool, even though I only know one little bass riff and some scales. Hey, my brother is proud of me! : ) And I'm dusting off my piano skills and bringing them back out into the light. I have to admit I've pretty much been frightened of the piano ever since I really started singing seriously because I remember the pain and agony it used to cause me when I was younger. And singing comes so easily y'all! Speaking of singing, I've only just begun. Lots coming up this year for my favorite band (www.soulfege.com) and I'm going to be working my voice out a lot more in and around Boston with some of Boston baddest musicians. On top of all that, look out on www.soulfege.com because this blog of mine just might be going public. (I know right!!)
